Excel Tile Specially For School Flooring

R-Tile have recently introduced a new Excel, hidden-interlocking, smooth finish tile which is much more watertight than the 'open' interlock and is almost watertight, but is not a 'sealed' floor. This product has been designed specifically to meet the flooring requirements for use within schools and colleges. It is an aesthetically pleasing product that is hard wearing and easy to maintain. The R-Tile Excel tile is available in 7mm and 5mm and has all the advantages of an easy, loose laid product with a unique locking system, hidden below the surface of the tile, which renders the join invisible.

Health and Environment: With many flooring systems primer, leveling compound or adhesives have to be used and can cause strong odours that can affect the air within the area where the flooring is being installed. This is not the case with R-Tile as no adhesive is required keeping the air free from odours which is a must in a school setting.
